Gastric Sleeve
It is performed by a laparoscopic approach by designing your stomach structure as a tube with a limited capacity.

It is performed under general anesthesia and the surgeon uses four holes on the skin in order to perform laparoscopic surgery. The stomach volume will reduce up to 75 %. Vast majority of the extra weight is lost within 6 months to 1 year of duration after surgery. One of the most therapeutic perspectives is reducing the other diseases like hypertension, heart disease, sleep apnea and diabetes to a lesser extent. Patients start feeling early satiety soon after the procedure.

It is very important to follow your dietitian's recommendations to maintain a healthy postoperative life. We are always ready for any teleconsultations based upon your questions about the process and please feel free to contact our team for any questions regarding sleeve gastrectomy.

The recovery period after sleeve gastrectomy surgery has been considerably shortened thanks to the developing surgical techniques. After the laparoscopic bariatric surgery, patients can return to their homes after staying in the hospital for 2-3 days. They can start driving a week after the surgery and return to work about two weeks after the gastric sleeve surgery. Lastly, 4-6 weeks is required for complete recovery and closure of wounds.
We provide four different treatment methods: Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Balloon, Gastric Injection, and Gastric Bypass. We provide laparoscopic procedures in our surgical treatments.
Weight problems or obesity occur due to lifestyle, environmental factors, and some genetic factors, but it is incorrect to define it as a congenital disease. Being overweight is not an inherited or genetic disease.
Obesity is a dangerous disease that can be fatal if not taken care of immediately. Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, fatty liver, high cholesterol, and sleep apnea are the most important diseases caused by obesity. In addition, in overweight or fat people, the problem of atherosclerosis begins at a very early age, which can cause a heart attack at an early age due to occlusion in the heart vessels.
Obesity is a disease defined by the World Health Organization as “abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat in adipose tissues to the extent that it impairs health.” In other words, we can define obesity as a complex and multi-factorial disease that manifests with behavioral, endocrine, and metabolic changes and increased body fat.
